📦 How to Track & Pick Up Your Order

📱 Tracking Your Order

You can check the status of your order at any time:

  1. Click the "View Order Details" button at the top of this email.
  2. You'll see your order status, items ordered, and pickup information.
  3. When your order is ready for pickup, you'll receive another email notification.
  4. Bookmark your order page to check back anytime.

🏪 Picking Up Your Order

When you arrive at the bakery:

  1. Bring this email or your order confirmation number.
  2. Let the staff know you're here to pick up an online order.
  3. Provide your name as it appears on the order.
  4. Inspect your order before leaving the store to make sure everything is correct.
  5. Ask for help if you need assistance carrying large or tiered cakes to your vehicle.

👥 Someone Else Picking Up?

If you can't pick up your order yourself:

  • Forward this email to the person picking up, OR
  • Give them your order number and the name on the order.
  • Make sure they know to inspect the order before leaving.
  • They should have a valid photo ID ready if requested.

⚠️ Remember: Once the order leaves the store, we cannot make changes or issue refunds for any damage.

✏️ Need to Make Changes?

  • To modify your order: Call us as soon as possible at 708-389-4400.
  • To cancel: Contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled pickup.
  • Running late? Give us a call and we'll hold your order.

Note: Custom cake orders may have different modification policies.

🎂 Important Order & Pickup Information

🚗 Transporting Your Cake

  • Pickup and carry cake from the bottom only. Do not push down or place anything on top of the cake box.
  • Keep the cake level at all times — including during transport and refrigeration.
  • DO NOT place it on the seat of the car. Place on a flat surface in an air-conditioned vehicle away from loose objects.
  • Drive carefully: No sharp turns, drive slow, no sudden stops.
  • Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat when not in the fridge.

🍰 Serving Your Cake

  • Take the cake out of the fridge 1.5 to 2 hours before serving.
  • Serve at room temperature for best taste and texture.
  • Place cake on a sturdy table. If using a cake stand, make sure it is sturdy and 1" larger than the cake board.
  • Tiered cakes have plastic plates, pillars & a wooden dowel for structure — remove before cutting.
  • Remove inedible decorations & sticks before enjoying.

❄️ Storage

  • Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 7 days.
  • Freeze for up to 1 month.
  • Cut cakes in a grid pattern for best results.

⚠️ Important Policy

Once you walk out the store with ANY product — custom made or bought off the store — we are NOT responsible for any changes made or any damage to the cakes/sweets.

🔴 NO REFUNDS — We will not fix the cake or give out a new one if YOU damage the cake.

Please check your cake is done RIGHT before leaving the store.

If someone else is picking up for you, make sure to check with them that your cake is done right before walking out!
